Problem Space Identification for Developing Virtual Reality Learning Environments

Our study argues that the extant literature on virtual reality-based learning environments (VRLEs) currently lacks proper definitions and context descriptions for a problem space, which is fundamental for conducting design science research (DSR). Students of Religion Studying Social Conflict Through Simulation and Modelling: An Exploration

Researchers at our university use modelling and simulation (M&S) to study religious conflicts, and we wanted to introduce undergraduate students of religion to this research approach. Hence, we started a three-year educational design research project to empirically study ways to introduce these students to M&S as a viable research method in their discipline. A design framework and principles for co-designing learning environments fostering learning and wellbeing

Increased understanding of the complex synergetic influences of psychosocial and physical learning environments (LEs) on learning and wellbeing has drawn attention to their careful design. Contemporary learner-centred educational paradigms emphasise the importance of learner involvement in the LE design.
